Saint Rose students protest college closure, demand answers

CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. (NEWS10) - Students at the College of Saint Rose came together to protest the college’s closure. NEWS10 was at the college's Huether building for the Monday morning protest. Poli-sci students are seeking more transparency from the college’s board of trustees. Nearly three dozen students gathered on Madison Avenue before they began marching around the campus wanting answers. ‘Toys for Pawz’ benefit returns to Delanson The College of Saint Rose is made up of a wide variety of students on all different levels of learning. “This place was known for its accessibility, the amount of people with disabilities that go here.” said student Dan Hanrahin.Chandler Hickenbottom is a returning 27-year-old second-generation college student. A Thousand Oaks woman has succumbed to her wounds after nearly two weeks in the hospital, and her alleged attacker — her son — will now face a murder charge, as the Ventura County Sheriff's Office is investigating the attack as a homicide.Scott Goldberg, 21, allegedly assaulted a man and a woman in their 60s with a hammer on Nov. 19. 32-Year-Old Man Killed in Scooter Vs Car Collision near Edgecliffe AvenueLOS ANGELES, CA (December 4, 2023) – Tuesday morning, Christopher Gibson surrendered to the LAPD following a tragic scooter accident on Sunset Boulevard. The incident transpired at approximately 1:10 a.m. near Edgecliffe Avenue on November 7th.According to reports, a 2011 Mazda 3 traveling westbound collided with a 32-year-old man on a scooter.
