British inquiry finds serious failings at hospitals where worker had sex with more than 100 corpses LONDON (AP) — A British government-ordered inquiry said Tuesday it found serious failings at hospitals where an electrician who was later convicted of murder had been able to have sex with more than 100 corpses over a 15-year period without being detected. David Fuller’s necrophilia was uncovered in 2020 when police used DNA to tie him to the 1987 slayings of two women and also discovered millions of images of sexual abuse in his home. Johnson unveils plan to move migrants into churches as tent camp construction to begin CHICAGO — Mayor Johnson addressed Chicago's migrant crisis Tuesday morning and unveiled a plan to move some migrants into churches as a highly-discussed tent camp is scheduled to start construction.Johnson joined faith leaders and other charitable organizations to address the crisis at 10 a.m.A "unity initiative" will move some migrants out of police stations and into 17 churches as construction begins on the winterized tent camp Wednesday. It is planned to open in "mid-December."Buses will be working Wednesday morning to help move the migrants into the churches. 24-year-old pleads guilty in fatal Northway crash case COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The 24-year-old involved in the fatal crash on I-87 on May 28, 2022, has pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide. Laroiya admitted to driving intoxicated and reaching speeds of up to 156 miles per hour. At the time of the crash, the defendant admitted he was on his cell phone, making a Snapchat video. Police investigating the case say Laroiya crashed into the back of a 2018 Honda Civic. The Civic struck a guard rail on the eastern shoulder and caught fire. The driver, Katie Fisher of Ballston Spa, succumbed to injuries at the Albany Medical Center. The indictment included charges of second-degree murder, second-degree manslaughter, reckless endangerment in the first-degree, DWI, and reckless driving. Sentencing is scheduled for January 26, 2024.
