GLENVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Glenville is getting a new restaurant. The Taco Shop is coming to the former Stewart's Shop at 710 Saratoga Road. The eatery is a project by restauranteur and executive chef James Fronk, his wife Jessica Fronk, and friends Sean McKenna and Jennifer McKenna. Fronk also owns The Front Street Social Club in Ballston Spa.Fronk is a Glenville native. He moved to California for two decades where he met his wife and opened two restaurants. After closing those restaurants, Fronk moved back to the area in 2017. ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Ahead of Labor Day weekend, New York State Police are warning drivers of increased patrols to combat drunk, impaired, and reckless driving. According to NYSP, the Labor Day holiday and weekend usually means increased and heavy traffic throughout the state. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Between the 23rd and 30th of August, State Troopers made six notable DWI arrests around the Capital Region. State Troopers reported three DWI arrests on the night of August 23. The first arrest was made following a two-car crash on I-87 in Chestertown. One of the drivers, Logan R. Mitchell, 26, of Schroon, was arrested for DWI and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. Mitchell recorded a 0.18% BAC, issued tickets returnable to the Chestertown Town Court, and was released to a sober third party. Two occupants in the other vehicle were transported to the Glens Falls Hospital for medical evaluation.Later that night, State Troopers responded to a disturbance at a home on Ballston Avenue in Ballston. Head-On Collision near Lockhart Gulch Road Left Man and Woman DeadSCOTTS VALLEY, CA (September 1, 2023) – Early Wednesday evening, a traffic collision on Skypark Drive claimed the lives of Laurie Bryant and Steven Bryant.The crash happened just before 5:00 p.m. on the road between Skypark Drive and Lockhart Gulch Road.According to reports, a gold sedan collided head-on with a white commercial van for unknown reasons.Responding emergency personnel declared the two occupants of the sedan dead at the scene. Later, the Santa Cruz County Coroner’s Office identified the two victims as 58-year-old Laurie E. Bryant and 62-year-old Steven L. Bryant.
