ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A Black Jack woman is accused of shooting her boyfriend on New Year's Day following an argument and fight.According to Sgt. Tracy Panus, a spokeswoman for the St. Louis County Police Department, the shooting happened just after 4:20 p.m. Monday in the 4500 block of Whisper Lake Drive.The accused shooter, identified as Irasema Scott, 46, and the victim had been dating for three months, Panus said.Police claim Scott, the victim, and the victim's ex-girlfriend had gone to Lake of the Ozarks and returned on New Year's Day.After returning to the apartment, Scott and the victim got into an argument about the way she drove and how the victim gave his ex-girlfriend a key to their apartment. An alleged scammer who is accused of using listings on Airbnb and other vacation rental sites to defraud would-be tenants has been indicted on federal charges.Shray Goel faces charges of wire fraud and aggravated identity theft, according to an indictment filed last month.Goel, believed to be about 35 years old, and accomplices allegedly used "a variety of fake host accounts on Airbnb and Vrbo" to net about $7 million, according to Court Watch and 404 Media, which reported the indictment on Tuesday.Between January 2018 and November 2019, Goel and others "would allegedly double book their rental properties, meaning that multiple parties were supposed to stay at them at the same time," the report said.
