Netflix to give out free Christmas trees during holiday event

Southern California families can get a free Christmas tree, courtesy of Netflix, this holiday season as the streaming service gears up to open its very own Christmas tree farm for a limited time.Netflix’s Family Switch Christmas Tree Farm will open on Dec. 2 and 3 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 6100 Topanga Canyon Blvd in Woodland Hills.Trees that are 6 or 8 feet tall will be given out for free while supplies last. Free delivery is also available for places up to 15 miles away from the event location, according to Netflix. A Tampa woman was arrested last week after she allegedly posed as a child and sexually battered a boy she met online, police say. A tip on Oct. 19 accused Alyssa Zinger, 22, of an "inappropriate relationship" with a child, according to Tampa police. The victim was identified by police as a middle school boy between the ages of 12 and 15, according to the arrest report. Zinger was accused of posing as a 14-year-old home-school student when she met the boy on social media. Alyssa Zinger, 22. (KRON) -- Another Shake Shack is coming to the Bay Area. Shake Shack is opening a new location in San Jose, the Santa Clara County Clerk-Record's Office confirmed to KRON4. It will be in Bascom Square, a shopping center located on the city's southwest border next to Campbell. There is no official date for when the Shake Shack will open. County officials did not provide an exact address of where the restaurant will be. SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A woman was found dead inside a home on Clay Street in San Francisco's Richmond District on Thursday evening, police said.San Francisco Police Department officers were called to a residential building at 7:12 p.m. to check on a resident. When officers arrived, they found the woman "unresponsive." She was declared deceased at the scene. Police described the incident as a homicide case and detectives are investigating. No arrests have been made. Police did not release the victim's name nor any further details about how the victim may have died.
