DENVER (AP) — A man was on the run Tuesday after police say he fatally shot three people and critically wounded a fourth over a years-long property dispute over the use of an easement on the suspect’s property in rural Colorado, authorities said. The shooting Monday afternoon happened on one of the victim’s property a week after an area landowner asked that the suspect be held in contempt of a June 2022 court order. It had that allowed them to cross the suspect’s property to access their land in the southern part of the state about 50 miles (80 kilometers) southwest of Colorado Springs. The suspect had also been accused of locking a gate and posting sign near the gate that said “the owner of this property is armed,” said Kevin Flesch, an attorney for one of the defendants who lost his easement access. It was unknown if the contempt of court motion was filed by the shooting victims because their names had not been released. National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby noted that Iran already has been providing Russia with unmanned aerial vehicles or drones, guided aerial bombs and artillery ammunition, and may be preparing “to go a step further in its support for Russia.”Kirby highlighted a September meeting in which Iran hosted Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu to show off a range of ballistic missile systems, sparking U.S. concern.“We are therefore concerned that Iran is considering providing Russia with ballistic missiles now for use in Ukraine,” Kirby told reporters during a conference call. “In return for that support, Russia has been offering Tehran unprecedented defense cooperation, including on missiles, electronics and air defense...Comoros upsets Ghana 1-0 in World Cup qualifying. DENVER (KDVR) — Deion Sanders' first season as head coach at the University of Colorado Boulder comes to a close this Saturday. After a historic start to the year when Sanders debuted his Buffaloes in Fort Worth and took home an upset win against TCU, the Buffs have faltered a bit and landed last in the Pac-12 standings. The Buffs lost their fifth game in a row last Friday against Washington State. The Cougars claimed victory over the Buffs with a final score of 56-14 and took away the team's hopes of a bowl game this year.
