(The Hill) -- Hill Harper is reportedly exiting “The Good Doctor” amid the actor’s bid for a Michigan Senate seat.The performer, who plays Dr. Marcus Andrews on the ABC drama, won’t be appearing on the show’s upcoming seventh season, according to TVLine, which was first to report the news.Harper “feels strongly that there is a crisis in American democracy — too often, government only works for the rich and powerful while the rest of us struggle to find a voice,” his campaign spokesperson told the outlet on Monday. (WHTM) -- Six Flags has announced that the world's tallest, longest, and fastest roller coaster will be built at one of its amusement parks overseas. The coaster, called Falcon's Flight, is expected to reach a height of 640 feet and top speeds of 156 miles per hour. The roller coaster will be built at Six Flags Qiddya, located in Saudi Arabia. Intamin, the ride's manufacturer, said Falcon's Flight is an Exa Coaster, a classification given to roller coasters over 600 feet. That's taller than the Kingda Ka, currently the world's tallest coaster that stands at 456 feet. ‘Beauty and the Beast’ attraction closing at Disney California theme park Falcon's Flight will reportedly have a 640-foot difference between its highest and lowest point. Members of a commission tasked with creating new symbols for the state of Minnesota on Tuesday selected six final designs for a new state flag, and five finalists for a new state seal.It’s another step toward the state replacing its symbols, which have long been criticized for their unmemorable design and depiction of white settlers displacing the area’s Native inhabitants.Minnesota’s State Emblems Redesign Commission whittled down the six final flag designs from more than 2,600 public submissions it received in October. COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A pedestrian has died after being hit by a vehicle on Central Avenue Tuesday evening. The crash took place just after 6 p.m. in the area of Central Avenue and Mountain View Avenue.Police said the pedestrian was pushing a shopping cart, wearing dark clothing, and not near a crosswalk or traffic signal at the time of the accident. Rain and snow made visibility poor, and the driver did not see the pedestrian until after they had been hit, according to police. Kennedy Towers Senior Housing. The pop-up pantry program started during the COVID pandemic. The food bank visits different senior housing units each month to provide fresh, healthy food to people in need.
