Six Flags Great Escape is now open QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — As schools are wrapping up for the semester, theme parks are opening up. Six Flags Great Escape had its opening day on Saturday, and Jennifer Mance, Marketing and Sales Manager says the park has been working on renovations from its hotel to some of its attractions since 2019.“When our guests arrive this year, they’re gonna notice that we put a lot of changes into our park, and in improving amenities, and in park beautification,” Mance said. “Including when they first walk through the front gate.” Get the latest, news, weather, sports and community events delivered right to your inbox! Video shows man brutally beaten by a mob of bicyclists in downtown Los Angeles Video captured the terrifying moment a mob of bicyclists attacked a man in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday.The victim was knocked to the ground, kicked and stomped on by a group of young men in broad daylight near Hill and 6th Streets around 4 p.m.The attack took place in the jewelry district where the witness who captured the video said he was working on the 13th floor of an office building when he heard a loud commotion outside.When he looked down onto the street, that’s when he spotted the violent altercation.As the victim was being kicked and beaten, one of the suspects can be seen bashing the victim’s truck windshield with his bike handle.“It was horrible,” said the witness, identified only as Gary. “When I got to the window, I saw probably about six or seven kids on bicycles. 4 men hospitalized, 2 critically injured in L.A. shooting Four men have been hospitalized, with at least two in critical condition, after being shot near downtown Los Angeles Saturday morning. Just after 2 a.m., Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to the 1000 block of Ingraham Street outside the 1010 Wilshire Apartments in the Westlake neighborhood.When authorities arrived on scene, they found four men suffering gunshot wounds. Detectives say there was an altercation between two groups of men who knew each other. At least one male suspect shot multiple rounds and then fled the scene in a white BMW with at least two other men.  Man shot in the face at Newport Pier The suspects are still at large and no arrests have been made. The four victims were transported to a nearby hospital. Two of the men are in stable condition, while the other two are in critical condition. It is unclear what led to the altercation. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the LAPD.

Orange County bride searching for missing wedding dress A Southern California bride is desperately seeking the public’s help in finding her missing wedding dress. Rebecca Nguyen of Mission Viejo is on the hunt for her wedding dress after a family member accidentally donated it to Goodwill. Nguyen got married in 2017 and she left her wedding dress at her parents’ house to keep it safe. Her parents later divorced, and in the process of them moving, her wedding dress was accidentally donated to Goodwill in Brea.  In a Facebook post that has been shared over 2,000 times, Nguyen shared her story and pleaded for the public’s help in finding her dress. "If you have it, please consider selling it back to me," Nguyen wrote.
