2 Colorado doughnut shops among 100 best in country, according to Yelp (NEXSTAR) – Do you “go nuts” for doughnuts? Sure you do. We all do. They’re made from fried dough and sugar. We’d be fools not to be interested.But we don’t go gaga over just any doughnut. We all have our favorite shops and flavors, and we’re always on the lookout for newer, tastier varieties. SWAT team arrests man after barricading himself inside Dania Beach hotel A man was taken into custody after barricading himself inside a hotel room in Dania Beach.The Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a disturbance prompting them to block off entrances and exits to a hotel.On Wednesday morning, authorities were dispatched to the Rodeway Inn and Suites located at 2440 FL-84 where they made contact with an adult male who then proceeded to attack a deputy. In response, the deputy fired his weapon, and the adult male retreated and barricaded himself inside a room.Employees were told they could not enter the hotel.One witness said they only saw one firetruck, but then noticed more activity in the back of the building.BSO’s SWAT team said with help from their K-9 they were able to safely apprehend the individual. BSO investigating fatal Tri-Rail train collision with pedestrian Detectives from the Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit have launched an investigation into an incident involving a Tri-Rail train and a pedestrian that resulted in a fatality.Authorities received multiple reports of a collision between a train and a pedestrian near West Commercial Boulevard and Interstate 95 in Oakland Park at approximately 6:15 a.m., Sunday.
